Meet Lisa Egyed

Lisa Egyed is a fully qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor with a background in social work and a particular interest in supporting individuals and parents navigating emotional challenges, life transitions, and neurodiversity.

Originally from Germany, Lisa has spent her adult life in Ireland, where she worked as a social worker supporting foster families. This experience gave her valuable insight into the complexities faced by individuals, children, and families and strengthened her belief in the importance of compassionate, non-judgemental support.

Lisa's own experience of therapy shaped her understanding of the transformative potential of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. She believes that meaningful connection is central to healing, personal growth, and self-discovery, and this belief is at the heart of her therapeutic approach.

Her professional and personal experiences led to her research into the experiences of parents of children with ADHD and their relationship with psychotherapy. She has a particular interest in supporting parents who may feel overwhelmed, isolated, or uncertain, offering a space where they can feel heard, understood, and supported.
