Susan Kennedy is an integrative and relational psychotherapist who offers a warm, supportive space to explore what may be going on beneath the surface. She believes therapy can be a place to feel genuinely seen and understood, while developing
a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships and the experiences that have shaped you.
Susan works with adults across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem, trauma and life transitions. She has a particular interest in infertility, sexuality and identity, and in exploring how these experiences can influence our sense of self, our relationships and the way we move through the world. She also welcomes space for whatever a person may be carrying, including experiences that can be difficult to put into words.
Her approach is integrative, relational and client-led, drawing on psychodynamic, attachment, humanistic and Gestalt perspectives, alongside trauma-informed and mind-body approaches. Susan places the therapeutic relationship at the heart of her work and aims to meet each person with curiosity, compassion and openness. She sees therapy as a collaborative process, offering space to reflect, make sense of your experiences and explore new ways of being.
Susan holds a BSc in Psychology from Maynooth University, an MSc in Foundations in Clinical Psychology and Health Services from Goldsmiths, University of London, a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and an MA in Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School. She is a pre-accredited member of IAHIP and a graduate member of PSI.
