Meet Shane Toner

Shane is a counsellor who offers a supportive, non-judgemental space where clients can explore what may be affecting them in their lives. He has a particular interest in helping people better understand themselves, work through difficulties and make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for them.

Shane works with clients aged 16 and over and takes an integrative approach to therapy. He draws on Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential and Phenomenological approaches, Internal Family Systems and Gestalt, adapting his way of working to the needs of each individual.

At the heart of Shane’s approach is the belief that therapy can offer space to reflect, develop greater self-awareness and explore new ways of responding to the challenges we face. He aims to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected and supported as they work towards greater clarity, understanding and change.
